Nuevo firmware para el Popcorn Hour A200. Los chicos de Syabas por fin actualizan el firmware para el A200. Aquí dejo las notas para los curiosos. Al final de la página teneis el enlace para descargar el firmware

Como sabemos al instalar un lector de BluRay en el Popcorn Hour C200 solo nos queda instalar un disco duro de 2,5”. Si queremos instalar un disco duro de 3,5” para tener mayor capacidad de almacenamiento, por ejemplo 2 Teras, tendremos que modificar internamente el Popcorn Hour C200. Recordar que esto pueden invalidar la garatía, debeis de ser muy cuidadosos. Ninguna de las modificaciones están validadas por el fabricante

Sigue estas instrucciones para recuperar el Popcorn Hour A-200 si la actualización del firmware falla.

Este método sólo es aplicable para el Popcorn Hour A-200.

1. Descarga el archivo zip siguiente:
files.syabas.com/popcornhour/download/A200_recovery_091114.zip (36,2 MB)
2. Descomprimir el contenido del fichero bajado en el directorio raiz de una memoria USB que esté formateada en el sistema de archivos FAT32 o NTFS.
3. Conecta el Popcorn Hour A-200 a un televisor a través de los componentes,  compuesto o HDMI.
4. Enciende el Popcorn Hour A-200.
5. Cuando veas un fondo azul indicando “Firmware recovery” introduces la memoria USB
6. Una vez conectada la memoria USB comienza la recuperación del firmware.
7. Despues de la recuperación con exito del A200 queda con el firmwar 02-01-091114-19-POP-411-000 y ya puedes instalar la ultima versión de firmware

Si los pasos del 1 a 7 no llegan a buen puerto, vamos que no se recupera, desde de seguir estos otros:

A. Apagua el Popcorn Hour A-200.
B. Insertar jumper (en esta imagen puedes ver dondo colocar el jumper)

C. Conectar la memoria USB utilizada anteriormente, con los mismos ficheros que habias bajado, conecta los cables al TV y siguimos los pasos anteriores del 1 al 7, hacemos lo mismo de antes pero con el jumper puesto
D. Enciende el Popcorn Hour A-200
E. Sige los pasos anteriores del 5 al 7.
F. Después de finalizar el preceso de actulización tienes que apagar la unidad cuando ponga ““rebooting in 10 seconds” en la pantalla. No dejes que reinicia con el jumper puesto
G. Retirar el jumper.
H. Quitar la memoria USB.
I. El Popcorn Hour se está utilizando al firmware 02-01-091114-19-POP-411-000
J. Conecta los cables como quieras y a disfrutar del A200.

Cambio de la región en un DVD:

IMPORTANTE: Esto sólo puede hacer 5 veces
1.) Inserte un disco DVD que tiene la región en la que desea instalar, si la región no es la mismo que el disco tiene, no podrá ver el DVD.
2.) Desde la página de configuración
3.) Pulsar ”Slow, 1, 6, 8, 3″ con el control remoto (SLOW: la |> botón del mando a distancia)
4.) Verás que aparece un pop-up (ventana arriba a la derecha), con el mando a distancia pulsa en numero de la región que quieres , establecer.

1.) Entrar en la configuración del C200 (no es necesario tener puesto un BlyRay en la unidad)
2.) Pulsar ”Slow, 1, 6, 6, 3″ con el mando a distancia (SLOW: la |> botón del control remoto)
3.) Verás un pop-up, (ventina arriba a la derecha) y pon un nuemor con la region correspondiente.

Popcorn Hour A-200 es un reproductor que presenta compatibilidad con casi todos los formatos, pasando a ser este la evolución del modelo A-110.

El Popcorn Hour A-200 viene con la posibilidad de conectarse a tu red local y a Internet mediante puerto ethernet además de poder hacerlo mediante WiFi si le añadimos un adaptador USB (opcional en la compra)

Tenemos la posibilidad de insertarle un disco duro de 3.5 o de 2.5 pulgadas con interfaz SATA, así como una serie de memorias y demás discos duros vía USB.

Veremos las apliciaones que tienes los NMT, en este caso el Popcorn Hour y los Kaiboer. Los llamaremos NMT para simplificar la explicacion

1. Cliente Samba

Con el cliente Samba del NMT podrá navegar por la estructura de ficheros de la red de
ordenadores Windows.
Instrucciones de uso:

1. Seleccionar en el NMT la opción de Web Services desde la pantalla Media Source.
2. Seleccionar Samba Client
3. Una vez seleccionado y guardados los cambios, podrá navegar por la estructura de archivos de la red de Windows.

2. NAS (SMB server)

Este servidor permite el acceso al HDD local del NMT desde otro ordenador como una unidad más de almacenamiento externo (SMB)
Instrucciones de uso:

1. Ir a Inicio->Ejecutar
2. Escriba “\<NMT Hostname>” o \<NMT DIRECCION IP>
3. Para tener un acceso más fácil en futuras ocasiones al NMT NAS, puede mapear el cliente SMB (NMT) como una unidad mas en “Mi PC”. Para hacer esto:
   a) Escriba “\<NMT Hostname>” o “\<NMT DIRECCION IP>”
   También puede hacerlo entrando en “Mis sitios de red”, pulsar en “Ver equipos del grupo de
   trabajo”, seleccione su NMT.
   b) Haga click con el botón derecho en la carpeta compartida y elija “Conectar a unidad de red”.
   c) Seleccione la unidad con la que el NMT aparezca representada..
   d) seleccione finalizar, y la unidad le debería aparecer en “Mi PC”.
4. Cuando intentas tener acceso al disco te pedira login y usuario, por defecto son:

3. Cliente BitTorrent

El NMT dispone de Cliente BitTorrent para hacer descargas directamente en el HDD interno.
Instrucciones de uso:
- Los Torrents pueden manejarse desde el menú Web Services->Torrent del NMT,
o con su explorador de Internet del PC mediante la siguiente URL :
http://<NMT IP ADDRESS>:8883/torrent/bt.cgi

- Como alternativa, en Windows XP, puede ir a Inicio->Mis Sitios de red->Tareas de red.
Seleccione la opción ‘Mostrar iconos para dispositivos UPnP en la red’. El aparecerá con su
hostname. Haga doble click en el icono y le aparecerá una pagina donde puede seleccionar la
opción de Torrent.

- Puede subir ficheros torrent y controlar la configuración de las descargas desde esta página.
- Los ficheros Torrent comienzan a descargarse automáticamente cuando el buscador del NMT
localiza el fichero .torrent.
Puede cargar los ficheros .torrent desde un dispositivo USB, esto es lo mas facil, copiar el fichero .torrent en la memoria usb y solo tienes que ejecutar desde el NMT

4. Servidor FTP

Permite acceder fácilmente de forma remota al HDD del NMT. El servidor esta siempre activado por defecto después de instalar las aplicaciones del NMT.
Instrucciones de uso:
- El servidor FTP funciona por el puerto (21) por defecto. Únicamente tiene que poner en su cliente FTP

Desde el navegador podemos arranca y parar los distintos servicios que tiene el NMT.

Muchas de las funciones NMT se puede acceder a través de un navegador web. Debido a la constante evolución de firmware y aplicaciones de usuario de los enlaces de abajo puede cambiar y convertirse en obsoletos.
